The rooms were clean and pleasant, with a great hot shower, and the communal kitchen was excellent. Staff were very accommodating. The location was fine, and the restaurant was basic but okay, with nice coffee. Food and drinks cost a lot compared with local places, though that's to be expected. My main issue was the lack of soundproofing. I could clearly hear people talking in adjoining rooms, and the water pipes were so loud they woke me most mornings. I think it's good value, but I'd avoid the cafe. If noise really bothers you, I'd probably spend more to stay somewhere else.

I had a really good time here, and would recommend it to anyone travelling to La Paz. Paola looked after my stay and helped me a lot. We played cards with her and the staff, shared drinks, and had fun. The team are cool and helpful, and they'll party with you, so it's easy to make friends. It's a great hostel with lots going on, including activities, interesting tours, a little restaurant, and its own bar. The rooms are big, and the beds are comfortable. Service was great too.

The staff are really friendly, and the place is nice for a fair price. Breakfast and coffee tasted good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center, which worked for us. There are little nooks where you can hang out, and you can do yoga on the top floor.

The place is called Socialtel now. It was good, and the locker was a decent size. The main problem was the dorm shower: the hot water pressure kept changing by itself, so I had to adjust the knob several times just to finish showering.

The beds were comfortable, and the cafe on site had good food. Staff were very helpful. I could leave my luggage during excursions, and the lockers in the storage room were appreciated. After taking a night bus, I was also able to shower before check-in. The location was good.
