La Isla De Los Tucanes

We spent two lovely weeks here. The owner and staff were so helpful. On our first day, they drove us around town and pointed out restaurants and taxi stands. The grounds and pool were lovely, and it was easy to walk into town. Our room had a comfortable bed, good air conditioning and shower, plus a refrigerator in the outer room. The substantial breakfasts were included too.

The breakfast had fresh fruit, eggs, empanadas, bream, jam, fresh juice, and more. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the big pool was great. It’s a beautiful resort, with clean rooms and air conditioning. We had a great stay and would definitely come back and recommend it.

The big, clean pool and air conditioning in the rooms made this place well worth the money. Service was amazing, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I’d absolutely recommend it, especially for anyone traveling with kids.

The only drawback is that it’s about 1 km from the main street, which could be an issue if you can’t walk that far. Otherwise, the room quality, air conditioning, and service from Jose and the staff were all great. For me, it’s the best accommodation in Rurrenabaque, and worth paying extra compared with the other places in town.
