Claudia deserves a special mention. She makes organizing group bookings easy and stress free, and she’s professional, quick to respond, kind, and excellent at her job. After working with hotels in several countries for years, she’s the best I’ve dealt with, hands down. I travel often and regularly arrange rooms for groups, so I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels around the world. Novotel Santa Cruz is among the best. The rooms are reliably clean, modern, and comfortable, with little touches that make them feel like home. The hotel is beautiful and well cared for, from the lobby and dining areas to the pool and shared spaces. Everything feels fresh, updated, and welcoming. Whether you’re coming to Santa Cruz on your own or with a group, I’d have no hesitation booking at Novotel. You’ll be looked after, especially if you get to work with Claudia. Highly recommended.

The food was wonderful, the staff were friendly, and I got some of the best sleep I can remember. The facility is outstanding, with attention to detail that really shows. Thanks, Novotel Scz. I’m looking forward to coming back soon. Much love from Texas.

The food was great, with plenty of choices for different tastes. The lobby is nice, and the bar catches your eye. Look up at the ceiling, which is decorated with over 60,000 broomsticks. I didn’t see the rooms, but judging by the rest of the hotel, I’m sure they’re great too.

The pool used to be heated, but it isn’t now, and the whirlpool wasn’t working either. The buffet breakfast has fewer choices than it did on my earlier visits, and the public areas, bar, and lobby don’t have the same atmosphere anymore. At check-in and check-out, reception staff don’t greet you warmly. This is my third time at Novotel Santa Cruz, and over the years I’ve noticed poor leadership and a lack of proper facility maintenance. The hotel needs updating and staff training to get back to how it was before.
