Hotel Mitru

The team were very friendly and helpful, and the room was warm. Heating isn't a given in Bolivia, so having it available was a big plus. There was hot water in the shower, and the breakfast was very good. The location was perfect, too. Probably the best accommodation choice in Tupiza. You can exchange USD for BOB with the owner at a fair rate, and booking excursions is easy. I took a half day trip with their agency. It was a little pricey, but the car was new and the driver/guide was absolutely lovely.

The room was big, spacious, and super comfortable. Breakfast had so many options and was really good, and the staff were lovely. A really great hotel for the price, definitely recommend.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and ours had a lovely outside area. The whole place is sparkling clean. Breakfast has a great selection, with complimentary tea available all day. The garden and pool are beautifully maintained, and it was great to come back from a hike and dive in. The pool is lovely, and there's a sunny breakfast room. The staff are the five star part of the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Edgar, who answered all our questions and put up with my Spanish. They also offer good value laundry, luggage storage, and let you use the pool after check out if your onward travel is later that day. There's a tour agency connected to the hotel as well. Lovely place in Tupiza, really, don't look anywhere else, just book!

A convenient location, and not expensive. The rooms were nice and clean with private bathrooms. Friendly staff, a great pool, and a fine breakfast. They could also make sandwiches-to-go for lunch.
