Coscaña Uyuni Hotel

We were so happy with our choice and I highly recommend staying here. The reception staff, a woman and a man, were there day and night, and both were super nice, friendly and kind. Breakfast runs from 7am to 10am and is excellent, and there's free water at the hotel all the time. It felt like a place where you can recover from Uyuni. Inside, you feel whole and can forget where you are, relax and sleep well. It's decorated beautifully, smells so nice, and has central heating, hot showers and good internet. The standards are high by Western standards. Sorry, my photos only show reception. I thought to take pictures of the room too late, but the official photos are accurate.

The location and service were both great, and the hotel seems among the better options around here. Breakfast was pretty basic, though, and the bedding had hair on it. The water also kept cutting out completely for a few moments at a time.

No air conditioning, and the window couldn't be opened. There was a bad smell coming from the pipes, and I have no comment on the restaurant staff. Is this really supposed to be the most luxurious hotel? I gave the location two stars because I don't care where it is.

I hadn't stayed at the hotel, but went in around 6 AM hoping to buy breakfast. The lights were on and I could see people inside, so I was glad to have found a place. The young man at reception was rude and condescending, and sent me straight back out in a way that was anything but polite.
