Hotel Jerian

Hostel Jerian felt warm and welcoming, and the clean, cozy rooms were more than we expected for budget-friendly accommodation. The staff were especially lovely, always friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. Their hospitality made us feel at home.

We stayed here before and after our Uyuni tour, and it was a perfect stay. The rooms were fab, the owner was so lovely and helpful, and it was the best shower we’ve had in Bolivia. Thank you :)

We arrived at 7 in the morning with all our luggage, after an overnight bus ride, expecting to sleep and relax in the room we’d booked for two nights. We’d told the hotel a few weeks beforehand that we needed to use it early. Instead, we were rudely told our room had gone to someone else and we’d have to wait until late afternoon. There’d been no message or email to warn us, and not even an apology. We quickly found a much better option, and were told this happens all the time. Save yourself some time and avoid this place.

The furniture was new and the room itself was in good condition, but we were disappointed with our stay. The twin bed was very small, the shower had no curtain, and the water flow was poor. We had to ask the owner to turn on the hot water. Breakfast was very simple too. I wouldn’t recommend it.
