Valletta gave us so much attention and treated us really well. The other guests were friendly, and we all had a good time. The restaurant wasn't operating, and it was also closed Sunday evenings, so we didn't hear noise or loud conversations during our short stay. This is basic lodging, and the beds are very old and soft. Still, we slept well. Having decent AC and a little kitchenette to make meals was a real plus, especially on such an expensive island. It was good value. The bathrooms have been updated and were fine, with hot water, which isn't common in many ABC Islands accommodations. The owners are reasonable, good people, and I'd stay here again.

Avoid this place. The room was barely livable and infested with roaches, and the staff were rude, especially the restaurant team. It felt only slightly better than sleeping on the airport floor. Our group leader booked under 2 Stay Playa, but we discovered it was actually The Lodge. The location was poorly marked, and the advertising felt deceptive. We absolutely stayed here, despite Dana's comment below, which seems to add to the confusion. Don't let this ruin an otherwise perfect Bonaire holiday.

There's no reception desk, but the manager is easy to reach by phone or message and responds quickly if you need anything. The accommodation is clean and basic, at a very affordable rate. Its location near a nice beach and the supermarkets is convenient. Great value if you aren't after a fancy resort.
