Chalé Dom Quixote

A peaceful, pretty place with a pleasant view and plenty of options. This was my first stay, and I fell for the fine rustic finish right away. Marcelo, Souza, and Claudia were especially attentive and friendly. I’m grateful.

The location and service are excellent, but the cleanliness needs work. The shower stall was quite dirty, the toilet looked like it needed a good scrub, there was lots of dust under the beds, and spider webs on the curtains. That was the only problem we found, but the chalets and common areas need a proper clean. If they improve this, we’ll definitely return.

There’s no restaurant, but the chalet has a fridge and stove, so you can make your own meals, and there are restaurant options nearby. It’s about six minutes from the park. The beds were comfortable, we were welcomed well, and there’s lots of greenery. It suited what we needed.

Chalé Dom Quixote is near the city entrance, and I liked both the service and the chalets. It’s a comfortable, quiet, and secure place, with a rustic, all-wood, medieval feel. There’s lots of outdoor space for kids to play, including a playground, plus a small unheated pool. You can also prepare a barbecue, and there’s uncovered parking on the property. Ask for the Wi-Fi password, since the cell signal is very weak there.
