Pousada Zacarias

I was so eager for morning to come. I stayed here with my grandchildren, and we were afraid to sleep after the receptionist brought a third mattress. I couldn’t believe there were bedbugs crawling on it. I failed to take a photo, but the receptionist saw them too, and I asked him to get the mattress out of the room as quickly as possible. I kept thinking about those bugs getting onto our clothes, and after that none of us could sleep peacefully. The cleanliness was nowhere near good enough: old, dingy sheets, and a bathroom sink and walls that were dirty and dusty. The price wasn’t worth it. I only looked at the establishment’s photos, and now I feel they were misleading. If I’d read the earlier reviews, I definitely wouldn’t have stayed. I don’t recommend it, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did.

I booked through Booking and paid in advance, but the hotel canceled my reservation and I still haven’t received a refund. Be careful, this could be a scam.

The reception was super attentive, and the place was comfortable and really clean. A great spot.

The reception staff were all really attentive, and the place felt cozy. The rooms have TVs and brand-new mattresses. I’d definitely recommend it and come back again 😍
