Pousada Vitorino

My now-fiancée and I had an incredible stay. I booked a package for the proposal, and the team also helped by recommending a photographer. Everything turned out perfectly, even better than I imagined, and my fiancée loved it. The bungalow was really comfortable, and the team made us feel at home. A special thank you to Estela and Fabiana, who looked after us while we were there. The proposal was perfect thanks to them. They also welcomed our dogs, Chico and Fiapo, who loved the place. We'll definitely return.

Fabiana is the heart of the pousada: warm, always smiling, and caring in everything she does. Gustavo kept us company and became our guide on the trails, while Sr Severino was so courteous with the beach services and helped us get on and off the taxi boat. Our room was spacious and smelled lovely, and the sheets and towels were spotless. The view was beautiful, and Fabiana prepared the meals with so much care. A wonderful, simple, one-of-a-kind stay!

We spent a few days at Pousada Vitorino recently, and the calm, almost magical atmosphere on Ilha da Gipóia made it feel like a hidden gem. There are only a few bungalows set at different levels, which lets the place keep its natural freshness and stillness. You can hear nature, and the sea views are extraordinary from every corner. My favorite feature was the walkway. It winds through plants and light, with wood and sand underfoot, then opens onto the sea after just a few steps. It feels like crossing into complete tranquility. More than the scenery or the intimacy of the place, what stayed with me was Fabiana's warmth. She looks after everything with a smile. If you're feeling unwell, she'll make soup; if she worries you're taking a while to return from a hike, she'll find a solution before you even ask. There's a sign on her kitchen door that says, “A mente cozinha, a alma tempera” (The mind cooks, the soul seasons). It suits her perfectly. Her food tastes like love, a little bit of home, and a lot of magic all mixed together. Thank you, Pousada Vitorino, for such wonderful hospitality. It's a unique place, and we'll certainly come back.

Fabiana made all the difference during our weekend stay from 01/05 to 03/05. She was so attentive, and our time there was fantastic. I can't wait to return! The place is charming, with a large, comfortable bed and a clean, airy room. The windows have screens. Breakfast is simple but prepared with care.
