Hotel Del Rey

Our stay on April 18/19, 26 was a nightmare. The room had water damage, with plaster falling off, and the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned. The bin lid was splattered and rotten. There was broken glass in the window and the curtains were coming down. The air conditioning didn't work, and the towel was torn in half, more like a floor rag. There were little cockroaches everywhere, and the sandwich maker was filthy. The owner was so dirty he could easily have been mistaken for someone living in vulnerable circumstances. Tour organizers, don't leave your passengers in this situation. They'll never come back. This place deserves zero stars. If health inspectors went there, they'd shut it down immediately and call the police.

We stayed from 30/12 through 03/01/2026, and room 708 met my expectations. The front desk service was good, and my family and I enjoyed the whole stay. We'll be back.

For the price, I expected better. The blanket was dirty and the bathroom wasn't very clean, so it wasn't a good experience.

The room smelled moldy, and the beds were awful. The sheets were torn, so I was glad I'd brought my own sheets, blankets, and pillow. The bathroom was disgusting, with walls covered in slimy mold, a broken window, damaged toilet plumbing, and no hot water in the shower. I was there with my four-year-old son and couldn't give him a proper bath in the cold. The manager wanted to take us to a bar's bathroom to bathe him. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. From the complaints I've seen, the owners don't seem concerned about guests' well-being, since the same problems keep happening.
