Bardot Apartamentos

The only thing that would make the stay more perfect is breakfast, but that doesn’t take away from what’s offered. The price is fair, the beach view is lovely, and depending on your apartment there are a few flights of stairs to climb, which are worth it. The owner is super friendly, communicative, and helpful, and she’s upfront about everything at her wonderful place. I recommend it, and my wife does too :)

The sunsets are INCREDIBLE, like a scene from a movie. The apartment is just right for a couple.

The view was the one good thing about this apartment. The place was in terrible shape and wasn’t equipped like a proper apartment. Water blew inside from the air conditioner and soaked our whole bed. On a rainy day, water also leaked into the room, so we had to cut open water jugs and put them in different spots to catch it. A disaster. I don’t recommend it.

We paid toward the high end of local prices because we wanted the sea view, but the place felt depressing and run-down. It looks like it hasn’t been maintained for years: everything is old and falling apart, the doors stick instead of sliding, the floor is full of holes, and the baseboards are coming loose. The bathroom smelled bad, the floor was dirty, the towels had holes, and the tiles were black with grime. The only good part was D. Lúcia’s kindness.
