A great family place, with spacious, comfortable suites. There’s no breakfast, but bakeries and restaurants are nearby, and it’s close to Rua das Pedras and the liveliest beaches. Highly recommend!

At the far end of the Buzios peninsula, just steps from the yacht club, these suites each come with a private terrace and sea view. There are seven in all, and each has a minibar, air conditioning, and its own bathroom. Breakfast isn’t included, but a bakery below the suites opens at 7:00 AM and stays open all day for breakfast and more. Barraza Suites is good value, with rates starting around 150 reais a day in early October and 200 reais in summer. It’s a family-run place, and they pay attention to what you need during your stay. You can ask for Nadia or Freddi.

Comfortable, pleasant, and everything was clean. There’s a sea view too, and the service was good!

A simple place with a family feel and excellent service from Fred and his wife. It’s close to everything, including the beach, restaurants, bakeries, and a very pretty waterfront.
