Bella Vista Eco Experience

A comfortable bed and a quiet spot close to nature make this a good place to stay if you're mainly going out for the beaches, nightlife, or Rua das Pedras. There are papaya and banana trees, along with other fruit trees. It's a simple place, not a luxury hotel, and could use a few small updates. The air conditioner is an older model, and the bathroom has a plastic curtain, though neither took too much away from our comfort. The hosts are all very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is basic but made with care: cheese, ham, butter, pineapple, mango, papaya, coffee, milk, and bread. Great value for the money.

The hotel is in terrible shape. The rooms were awful, the bed uncomfortable, and the bathroom in very poor condition. The air conditioning didn't work, among other problems. This was the worst experience I've had with my family. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The views are incredible, but the place was badly run down. There was a lot of dampness, and the bathroom smelled awful.

What was meant to be a family trip turned into a nightmare. We asked to cancel because the listing was misleading, then had to leave with two older people and a baby to find somewhere else to stay. The place felt unsafe and wasn't accessible, with only unsafe stairs, overgrown grass, and no security. It's up on a hill on a difficult-to-reach street. They say it's near Rua das Pedras, but the 800 meters involve a very steep incline. The rooms were moldy, the curtains dirty and falling down, and the bathroom was dirty with an unbearable smell.
