Che Buzios Centro Pousada

It's so close to the center that you can explore practically everything on foot. After a day out seeing such a beautiful place, it was a great spot to rest, and breakfast was tasty and gave us the energy to head out again.

The room had a mini-fridge with a freezer, which meant icy drinks, a real luxury. Ours was spotless, with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan, and the breakfast was excellent. There were lots of tiny ants, though I couldn't tell where they came from, haha. They were a nuisance but didn't really affect the stay. I don't know if Brazilians are usually this quiet or shy, but a little more energy would help, just constructive criticism. Leo, the maintenance guy, was very friendly and attentive, and his upbeat attitude and style made a real difference. The rooms we had were very nice. I definitely recommend this pousada and will be back!

The breakfast setup was a problem, with too few tables for all the guests, and the fruit looked stale. The bedrooms were unhygienic, and the beds felt like sleeping on the floor: extremely thin mattresses laid over concrete. The air conditioners didn't work, seemed to be there just for show, and were incredibly noisy. Disgusting. If you want a pleasant stay, don't stay here!

We stayed for a week and had a very pleasant time at the pousada. Breakfast was delicious, and we'd definitely come back. Jony was especially attentive, always available to answer our questions and help us out.
