Breakfast was a real highlight, with delicious variety and vegetarian and vegan options, which you don’t always find in Brazil. We also enjoyed the restaurant’s drinks and food, including some plant-based choices. Greco is lovely, perched on a hillside with beautiful sea views, and we had a really nice stay. The staff were friendly and quick to handle every request. A few little jobs could make the suite feel more finished: the blackout curtains need tightening, there was limescale on the shower screen, and the patio fountain wasn’t running. None of that got in the way of our stay. The hill means a steep driveway and lots of stairs. We enjoyed the scenic 10-40 minute walks to the beaches, but there are always buses or Uber if walking isn’t your thing.

The breakfast felt like something from a 1-star motel, and for what I paid, this very old hotel felt way too expensive. I booked through booking.com because the rating looked good, but I don’t understand it. The white leather couch and white leather bed also left me wondering what this hotel is used for. It really needs renovation.

The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was very good. My wife and I felt very safe at the beach. We had a quiet stay with incredible views from our window, plus a pool and parking. Praia Brava is close by. We’ll definitely come back.
