I paid for three nights with breakfast included, though I didn’t eat breakfast. During the stay, I briefly brought a local guest up to my room. They didn’t stay long, shower, or use anything. At checkout, staff still insisted on adding 170 BRL because this person had entered my room. I found that completely unacceptable. That evening, a staff member behaved aggressively and unprofessionally. He came upstairs, knocked while I was with my guest, then stood in the doorway blocking the entrance and staring at us in an intimidating, disrespectful way. It was extremely uncomfortable. I’ve stayed at other pousadas and never had anything like this happen. I don’t consider that professional or respectful treatment of guests. I strongly don’t recommend this pousada, and advise travelers to be very cautious. One star.
