The owners were very friendly and ready to give guidance when needed. The setting felt cozy and family-oriented, and the internet was good, though it didn't work in the room. I paid R$600, 00 for a week with breakfast and lunch. The meals were good, but still left something to be desired. I booked through a group-buy deal, and I think there may be better rooms than the one I had. In my room, the outlets were in poor shape, the bathroom drain smelled bad, and the old minibar worked. The TV only got three channels, which wasn't satisfactory. Don't forget repellent and mosquito killer, those mosquitoes are fierce, though that's not unique to this place.

We woke in the middle of the night with water up to our thighs because the place flooded and had no drainage system, even though our room was on the lower level. We had to get another room key in the night, and nobody from management stepped up to help while we tried to manage with newborns there. They charged us for a pizza we hadn't ordered. They say breakfast runs from 8 to 10:30, but when we arrived around 8:50 there was nothing left and they didn't replenish it. The place feels like it wants to squeeze money out of you, with very high prices for everything they offer, even though next door you can get lunch for two for the price of one meal at the inn. They don't change the bedding. We got moldy blankets, and the TV only worked on three channels, Globo, SBT, and RedeTV, before it stopped working altogether. The Wi-Fi they advertise doesn't really work: the signal is weak everywhere, and the password they gave us was wrong. The shower water wouldn't get hot, and there were other hygiene problems too.

I left first thing in the morning. My room had moldy walls, a dirty bathroom, and black towels when I arrived. I got there in the middle of the night and couldn't find another inn at that hour, so I stayed until morning. When I went to reception for water, I saw a rat in the corridors. Horrible place. I don't recommend it.

The inn's owner was incredibly attentive, and the value for money was hard to beat. The weather caused us no trouble at all, quite the opposite, the gods brought us sunshine all week. Spectacularly good!
