Pousada Baia Bonita

My son and I had planned this Búzios weekend for months, hoping for beach time, good food, and a chance to unwind. Instead, we spent the night in our car. In the room, insects showed up around the windowsill and bedside table, then spread to the bathroom, floor edges, headboard, and even the mattress. I found what looked like lice when I lifted the sheets. The lobby had felt damp and smelled faintly of mildew, but we tried to look past that. When I reported the bugs, the front desk offered no new room or refund. One employee said housekeeping had done their best; another told me to return in the morning for a manager. We got an air freshener and advice to leave the windows open. The lack of concern was worse than the infestation. Búzios itself is lovely, but Hotel needs serious cleaning, better management, and basic hospitality.
