The rooms and service were amazing, and breakfast was great too. It felt like being in Greece! Gabriel, the owner, was kind and friendly from the start. I’d absolutely recommend staying at Pousada Maré, and if we come back to Buzios, we’ll stay there again. Thanks for everything!

The management team was professional and clearly cared about us having a nice stay. Staff were kind and attentive, and breakfast was wonderful. It’s a beautiful, elegant little hotel in a relaxing spot, about a 12-15 minute drive or Uber ride from the town center.

Belén was such a sweetheart, always smiling, thoughtful, and full of useful tips for exploring the region. The whole team was lovely and attentive, and every little detail seemed carefully considered. We were even surprised with a welcome drink when we arrived. The pousada itself is super cute, and we felt right at home. A huge thank you to Pousada Mare, everyone there, and especially Belén for an unforgettable stay.

The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh cakes, which were made with so much care and tasted great. The service was impeccable, and the pousada was wonderful. I recommend it without hesitation and am already counting the days until I can go back!

The place is attractive, with spacious rooms, a good setup, and a convenient location. But the cleaning was poor. I found two cockroaches in my room; I told reception the next day and asked them to clean it, but they didn’t. I stayed five days, and the room was only cleaned once. Breakfast was supposed to start at 8, but it still wasn’t ready at 9:30. I had to leave without really having breakfast, which I’d paid extra for. The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly either.
