Pousada Repouso Das Flores

The shower was the only thing I liked. I stayed here over Carnival, and for what we paid, the room was really poor: a strong mold smell, and we had to keep the ceiling fan running the whole time we were in there. The bathroom toilet had no seat, the bin was overflowing and wasn't emptied until after two days, and our towels weren't changed during the four-day stay. Breakfast was very disappointing too. Flies kept landing on the food, and the only thing I felt okay eating was a piece of watermelon. I don't recommend it.

The guesthouse is about 6 km from the center, so it is a bit of a ride, though Uber is easy to get. I spent around 50 reais on a round trip to the center. The street is quiet, with Mac Donald's and supermercado extra nearby. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. I stayed in a room that hadn't been renovated yet. Outside, the inn is attractive and well kept.

The outside of the inn is quite cute, and it's in a very good location. Breakfast was great, too. The place is now called pousada Sintonia. My room, though, was very basic and looked ugly. The sofa bed was hard, the air conditioner was falling apart, and the shower barely put out any water.

The pool was nice, and there are markets, snack bars, and other places nearby. The location is good, and breakfast was very good. It's a simple inn, though, and my room could have been cleaner.
