Pousada Flora Praia

We stayed here with my girlfriend, and the experience was awful. The service was terrible and the facilities even worse. On the first day, the shower broke and we had to change rooms. The power went out for about three hours on the second day, then the same thing happened on the third and fourth nights. We'd come back from the beach and find no electricity. They cleaned the room for the first time on day four. After we complained, they cleaned it again on day five, but there were no towels in the room. In seven days, the room was cleaned twice, and the second time there were no towels. Every day we also had to go to another hotel for breakfast, so there was some hassle all seven days. After we complained a lot, they wanted to move us to another hotel. We refused, and they refunded the last night, but then had the nerve to deduct the bank's administration fee even though we'd paid the full amount in advance by credit card. Terrible service and facilities, and they were stingy too. If you don't want aggravation or hassles, stay away from this hotel.

The room was clean and pleasant, and the only sound from the inn was the ocean waves. It's in a peaceful spot right in front of the beach. The vans that go all around the city start from a stop at the end of the street behind the inn. At check-in, they explain the city and point out the best beaches. I highly recommend it.

My family and I really liked the place. It has a family-friendly atmosphere, and we felt comfortable. The inn's owner, Flora, and Sol were very attentive and gave us all the help we needed. The only downside was hearing noise from the neighboring rooms.

Never going back. The power goes out, the rooms are worn out and have needed renovations for decades. The TV is a small tube model, and the mattress is hard. You have to ask for glasses because there aren't any in the room. The air conditioning is only allowed from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. They don't change the bed or bath linens, and they don't clean the room. Never again.
