Pousada Maktub

We liked how comfortable the room was after a day at the beach. It had a good mattress, mini-fridge, Smart TV, and a table with chairs, handy for eating food delivery. The water pressure was good and there was hot water. The place is away from the center, but only a few blocks from the main avenue, where you can catch vans to the beaches, Ruas das Pedras, and even the bus to Arraial do Cabo. The reception and kitchen staff were friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was just right. My one reservation is that the room could have been cleaner. That's something they can improve. Thanks for a lovely place to unwind after a beautiful beach day! 😍💚💛

You can walk to the beach in about 5-7 minutes, which is great. The pousada itself is simple but really nice, and this was my second stay. Everyone working there is thoughtful and attentive. Breakfast is very good. There aren't many parking spaces, but street parking was easy and free. I hope to return whenever I can.

It felt really comfortable staying here, and I loved the cozy place and friendly, attentive people. The pool and air conditioning were a lifesaver in the usual Brazilian heat. Breakfast was delicious, and the pousada is near beaches such as Geribá and Ferradurinha. The area also seemed quite safe to me, with parks and restaurants nearby. :) 🫂

We were traveling with our 4-year-old, but when problems came up, nobody offered a solution and they seemed to put future bookings first. Our room flooded, the hot water kept cutting out, and cleanliness and maintenance were poor. Breakfast was a disaster too. We've formally registered our dissatisfaction.
