Pousada Baú das Pedras

I felt uneasy and lost trust because the information didn't add up. I was told the inn had no access and no electricity, so my reservation had to be canceled. They offered to move me to another inn, but it was a lower standard than the one I'd booked. I contacted Booking to cancel, then later found that the property was still operating normally and taking new bookings for the same dates. The conflicting information and the proposed alternative were really frustrating.

The sunset was incredible, and the pousada was clean and in a great location. We were welcomed warmly, too. Such a wonderful experience. Congratulations to everyone 🙏🏻

The breakfast was very good, and the rooms were cleaned excellently. But the furniture is very old, which leaves a musty smell, and the lighting is poor. The leisure area needs better care, too, since some things are damaged. Lúcia is a special person. Without her, the pousada would be in much worse shape.

The view from the pousada is good for photos, and the receptionist was fantastic. Dona Luci deserves a thousand out of ten for reception, may God bless her, because without her the place would be done for. The rest was awful. The website photos looked beautiful, but the reality was very different: paint was peeling off the bottom of the dirty pool, and the hot tub was filthy, with several dead bugs in it. They even charged 190 to use it. The double bed was two single beds pushed together, which was really uncomfortable. The bathroom was old and small, with very dim lighting and some lights missing. Breakfast and the view were spectacular, but everything else was no good. I argued with my wife about choosing this place because of the photos and hot tub, and I regretted it badly. It was my first time in Campos and a horrible experience. I don't recommend it.
