We liked the stay overall. The place has a playroom, a heated pool, and a beautiful view, with lovely flowers and greenery around. Our room was large, with a balcony and a spacious bathroom with a double sink. Having a microwave, induction cooktop, plates, glasses, and cutlery in the room was great for a trip with kids. I came with my 2-year-old son. We weren’t happy with the restaurant service. They didn’t answer WhatsApp messages, even though room service was listed as an option. Nobody from the restaurant stayed by the heated pool, despite food and snacks being offered there too, so we had to go upstairs to place an order. The playroom is a big space but has few toys. My son enjoyed it, though they could add more. One evening, about five kids were running around, hiding, bumping into people, and making noise in the reception area while we were going to dinner. Their parents seemed absent, and nobody at reception did anything either. Another annoyance was hotel-share sellers stopping us at reception to show us around and make an offer. That was a nuisance at a place meant for rest. I enjoyed the stay overall and think things may improve as more shareholders join, and the price may go up too.

The quiet setting and beautiful scenery are the only things that made this work for me. This is a hotel with good pools, nowhere near a resort. If you care about architecture and design, you may want to skip it. The construction by MRV looks poorly finished, with crooked surfaces still dirty with grout, cracked stone, grimy walls, and unfinished plaster everywhere. The layout has made reception chaotic and created a mess for both the valets and guests. Don’t expect much from breakfast or the restaurant. Some food was underbaked and tough, like it was old. A simple serving of fries at the pool or in the room could take over an hour. The staff tried to help, but the team was clearly small and inexperienced. With all that, the price just doesn’t make sense.

The food at breakfast was wonderful, with excellent quality and variety, and check-in and the initial welcome were quick and efficient. The hotel’s setting and atmosphere are breathtaking, and its modern facilities are comfortable and very well cared for. Everything worked perfectly. The service at the breakfast entrance could use more warmth. The employee checking people in was somewhat hostile and overly strict for a vacation setting. I also had a serious issue after checking out: I left my coat behind because it didn’t fit in my suitcase, and when I contacted the hotel, they said they hadn’t found it. It’s disappointing that housekeeping didn’t report an item left behind.

The hotel has a lovely design and a unique location, but it feels like the money ran out before construction was finished. There are too few employees for the demand, despite their being kind and doing their best. I felt sorry for the valets and the cleaning lady. Our check-in was at 3:00 p.m., but we couldn’t get into our room until 5:00 p.m. after pushing repeatedly, because it still hadn’t been cleaned. The restaurant is run by a contractor and is also short staffed. We only ate breakfast there once because it wasn’t worth it. The woman serving our table was also the one making tapioca and handling the bill. The hotel urgently needs to improve its management.
