I came back for my second stay, and it was still a great experience. The owner BJ and family keep the Pousada well managed and maintained. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Mine had a large Jacuzzi and a charming wooden ofurô tub on the terrace, and the fireplace gave the room a lovely romantic feel. Breakfast is included, with plenty of breads, cheeses and charcuterie, fresh fruit, fruit jellies, orange and other fruit juices, plus omelets made to order. The Pousada is outside the city, but the quiet is priceless if you want to read, study, or work. You can hear a car coming from miles away, and the day starts with birdsong. If you like Italian food, Pontremoli Restaurant is open every night at Pousada. RSVP. It serves food from the Toscana region.
