Atmosphera Pousada

The inn is run by a couple who left the metropolis to start this charming, elegant place. There's a large pool among the trees, and the inn itself feels cozy. The main restaurants on Mucugê street are within walking distance, though you'll face a slope as soon as you leave. It's about seven minutes to the first place to eat. Arraial d'Ajuda Eco Parque is also walkable along the beach. For a quieter beach, keep walking right for 15 minutes after you reach Mucugê beach. Pitinga beach is another nice option, but you'll need a car or taxi to get there.

The place was very good, but we were charged double the price we paid through booking. It felt like we'd been scammed.

The pool area has loads of ways to relax or stay active: a huge pool, shower, barbecue, hammocks, exercise space, and plenty of loungers. The inn is right in front of the beach, and the town center, shops, bars, and good restaurants are just a few minutes away. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with à la carte choices, lots of juices, and fresh fruit. They also serve afternoon coffee with cakes, a really nice touch. The room was very comfortable, with air conditioning, a fan, and a closet for keeping things organized. There was also a spacious balcony with chairs, a hammock, and a clothesline, plus a roomy bathroom with toiletries. Free internet worked well throughout the property. Great comfort, location, and service. I had an excellent stay at Pousada Atmosphera and would definitely recommend it.
