The service from Clarice and Ivete was wonderful. They were attentive and dedicated, which we really appreciated on our first holiday with our one-year-old. The independent chalets have access to the beach, and the place has a lot of potential, but the facilities weren't well maintained, especially the chalets we stayed in. Our first chalet was in terrible shape, and at night we found the bathroom full of cockroaches. We reported it the next day and were moved, but that bathroom also had several cockroaches at night. The stay became very unpleasant. The place needs pest control for the cockroaches and ants around the property.

I left and found somewhere else to stay. I was exhausted when I arrived at night and couldn't imagine sleeping in such poor conditions, especially at that price. The room was dirty, with another guest's drink-straw wrapper left behind, a pillowcase marked with yellow stains, and a musty smell. The shower sprayed water outside the shower area and soaked the bathroom. There was hardly any toilet paper. When I raised the problems, the employee said she'd check the next day about changing rooms, but never got back to me. The owner didn't come by either. I didn't even see him, and the employee was sunbathing. During the pandemic there was no alcohol sanitizer in the common areas, and the rooms weren't properly cleaned. When I took off the dirty pillowcase, the pillow underneath was very grimy, old, and smelled musty. I don't recommend it to anyone.

We paid R$290.00, the best-priced inn we found. My husband and I loved our one-night stay on 26/01/18. We wanted somewhere peaceful after all the busy city and nearby beach noise, and here we heard only birds. We were close to the sea, and there was also a pool. The rooms were clean and had Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a minibar. Breakfast and parking were included too.

It's right on the sand, with restaurants nearby that have live music, and it's easy to get transport into the center or to the ferry. Now called ECO BEACH HOSTEL, it has new owners, Hugo and Samuel. The place is incredible, calm, cozy, and full of nature. They're helpful, attentive, respectful, and polite, and are fixing things up to make it even better. I definitely recommend it and will return.
