The inn’s grounds are very pleasant, and the room and bathroom were good, tidy, and clean. The location is excellent: vans and small buses to the ferry pass at the corner, it’s right next to the church, and everything is close enough to reach on foot, including the beach. Breakfast was excellent, and the women working there were so kind. I liked them a lot, highly recommend it, and will be back soon.

I stayed with my mother, who is elderly, from 21/09 to 27/09/25. We booked one of their higher-grade rooms with her comfort and the better facilities in mind. The only positive for me was the location, convenient for shops and transport. The street was very noisy every day until 1 a.m. because there’s a bar right in front. I had been told the area was only noisy on weekends, but there was loud music outside the inn on 21/09, 24/09, and 25/09, from 21:30 until 1 a.m. on weekdays. I hated it and couldn’t sleep until the music stopped. Reception service was very basic and not 24 hours, though we did have a gate tag to come and go. Room service had to be requested. We paid the remaining balance when we arrived, after having paid a 50% deposit with the reservation. In 13 years of traveling, I’d never paid that way before, so the stay started off feeling strange. When we entered the room, there were several cobwebs on the ceiling and light fixture. Some near the bed could have been removed. I mentioned it politely to the kitchen and cleaning staff. They said they were stretched and couldn’t reach them, but would try to sort it out, and they did. It was still awkward that this hadn’t been done before we arrived. Breakfast wasn’t great as some reviews say. It was very simple, repetitive, and had few choices. There were no scrambled eggs unless you asked, and even then they weren’t like the usual hotel breakfast. The warming tray shown in the photo was empty every day. There was no tapioca. On one day, they ran out of papaya. I mentioned it, and they got some for me, but then handed it to me in a bag to cut myself, which was unbelievable. What about the other guests? Breakfast runs from 08:00 to 10:00, which doesn’t work well when most agency tours start at 08:00. There were also a lot of basic things missing from the room and bathroom: a bedroom mirror, a hook behind the bathroom door for clothes, a room safe, full blackout curtains, bedside tables, and a chair or drying rack for damp clothes. There weren’t enough outlets, and they could provide extension cords or adapters, perhaps keeping track of them at check-in and checkout in case they were lost or broken. At breakfast there was no small one-liter thermos of hot milk, so we had to ask for it to be heated every day, and the microwave was in a separate area. The shower had weak water pressure, which might improve with a good scrub using a firm brush and CIF. On one very rainy night, the room also leaked, and water ended up on the floor. I know the price doesn’t mean I can expect a breakfast banquet or an elaborate setup. But there are several nearby inns at a similar rate with much better room details and breakfast, and they’re only a little farther from the noise, which would have made a big difference for me. I attached photos of some of the things I mentioned. I’ve never had a stay like this. I’m disappointed.

The staff all had a good vibe, and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was exceptional. It’s also well located, with easy access to the city center and close to a market and pharmacy.

Clean, well-organized rooms and a fair breakfast, simple but with a good variety. The inn is on a quiet street away from the noise of the other streets, while still close to everything. Great value for money, and I’d definitely return.
