Pousada Gira Mundo

The place is simple, but it does the job really well: the rooms are good, the beds are comfortable, and everything is organized. Felipe, the owner, is a lovely, easygoing guy. I needed to leave my bags there, and he was happy to help without making it complicated. Being treated that well makes all the difference. Linda, who works there, is also a sweetheart, really friendly, attentive, and always available. I highly recommend it!

The location is very convenient, close to everything we might need, and the room was cozy. It was clean throughout our stay, and Felipe was always helpful with our requests. The kitchen came in handy on the mornings we had to get up early and no bakery was open. One small suggestion: put retractable clotheslines inside the shower so guests can hang things to dry. Otherwise, everything was very good, with great value for money.

The shared kitchen was a real plus, since we could make breakfast or other meals there. Our room was spacious, with air conditioning, a minibar, and a new, comfortable mattress. The inn is close to the beaches, and we walked there every day; there are also lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Pousada Gira Mundo was a lovely surprise: beautiful, organized, clean, and in a wonderful location. Felipe, the owner, was cordial and his tips were helpful. Lu was also lovely, and took great care with the cleaning and upkeep.

The location is perfect, near everything, and the price is accessible. We had full use of the kitchen if we wanted to make breakfast or lunch. Our room, and the inn itself, were spotless and smelled fresh, thanks in part to the very careful housekeeper Lu. Felipe was welcoming and cordial. I loved it, and on a scale of 0 to 10 I'd give it 1000. Highly recommend it, especially for its location in Arraial.
