Pousada Rota Tropicana

We’ve been coming to Arraial for years, and my husband, our son, and I have traveled around the Northeast quite a bit. This pousada’s breakfast puts many hotels to shame! Everything was delicious, there was lots of variety, and the options changed each day. The staff are excellent too, and the location is great. It’s simple, but very good value and has everything we need. You can walk everywhere, right in the middle of things and close to it all. If God allows, we’ll be back next year.

The room had a musty smell, which was a downside. Breakfast was fine, and the central location is excellent, right beside Rua do Mucugê, the town’s main street. The beach is farther away, about a 15-minute walk. A good choice if easy access to the center is what matters to you.

I loved it so much! The room was great, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The women in the kitchen were lovely. Breakfast was wonderful, and you can ask them to make fresh tapioca with eggs, ham, and cheese. It’s in a great spot near markets, Rua Mucugê, and Mirante das Fitas, so it’s easy to get everywhere on foot.

The room was spacious and airy, everything was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked really well throughout. The location is excellent, and the staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. I was surprised that the air conditioner is positioned at bed height. The only real downside was the tiny bathroom: your knees hit the wall when sitting on the toilet, and the shower is so low that my 1.90-meter-tall husband couldn’t stand straight beneath it. We stayed in superior room 08. Still, a great pousada.
