Great!
The place felt strange even from the street, and there was nowhere to park. The building looked like a tenement, so we were already dreading the room before we went in. It was tiny, ugly, and strongly smelled of mildew. The mattress sagged into a V when I lay down, and it smelled bad too. I was glad I'd brought my own sheets. The bathroom was so small you could barely shower, and its curtain stuck to the toilet, which was disgusting. I was really disappointed. The day after we arrived, we decided to rent somewhere else. We lost the money we paid for this place, then found another one at a good price that was so much better.
The photos don't match what you actually get, and the reviews are much too positive. The owner really is attentive and friendly and tries to help however he can. The location is also convenient, just five minutes from Playa Grande, but the neighborhood felt very unsafe to me, and the room was a disaster. The shower had almost no water pressure. The bed was two mattresses stacked on top of each other, both torn and completely worn out, with lots of hairs on them. When you lay down, they formed a V. The sheets were relics too, and disgusting.
I booked through Decolar, but when I reached the address I couldn't identify the place because there was no sign. The street was very narrow, with nowhere to park. Inside, the room smelled strongly of mildew and felt stuffy, with no window and old furniture. The bathroom was tiny and tucked under the stairs. The photos also didn't match the listing. I lost the fee charged by Decolar and had to rent a usable room somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
