Six out of five stars for me, mainly for two things: even with sandy streets all around town, the rooms are spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond, and it’s the best service I’ve had in a long time. The hotel itself is great, the breakfast and other meals were tasty, and the pool was a godsend and well maintained. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We paid a high price for three days and got no service. During our three-night stay, the room wasn’t cleaned even once. Also, be careful: the hotel’s partner charges double the market price for transfers and tours.

For more than $400 a night, I expected better. The room has the feel of a bed and breakfast, the breakfast was pathetic, and I found the hotel's hygiene pretty questionable.

Atins turned out to have plenty of good restaurants and places to unwind, even with its rustic feel. We loved the Lencois Maranhenses, especially swimming in the freshwater lagoons and catching sunset from the dunes. At Pousada Vila Camurim, Noemi met us when we reached the village and helped us choose and arrange tours with local guides, which gave us a glimpse of life there. The stay felt personal for every guest, and we had an amazing time. Likely the best place to stay when visiting Lencois. We can't wait to return.

The food, including breakfast, was delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive. Everything was very clean, from the facilities to our immaculate room. The pool was amazing, and the decor fit beautifully with the surrounding nature. Top notch hotel, highly recommended.
