We were given such a warm welcome at Casa da Russa. Mariana and Ivan were wonderful hosts, and we also fell in love with their dog, Pérola ❤️. The suite was comfortable, and every area we saw was clean and well organized. Breakfast was generous, too. They gave us helpful tips on affordable places to visit and things to do around the region. We felt so cared for and respected, and we’ll definitely return to Casa da Russa.

There’s an important piece of Brazil’s history here, kept by the owners, and staying at this popular spot gives you a chance to see it up close. The house itself is modest, but it has the comforts and hospitality guests need. It feels cozy and family-run, right in the paradise of Baía Formosa. A must-see.

The rooms are simple, but they’re spotless, well looked after, and thoughtfully decorated. What makes a stay at Casa da Russa feel different is the company and the stories. Ivan was waiting at the gate when we parked, and over breakfast there was always good conversation. They made us feel completely at home, almost like visiting a relative. Such a warm, caring experience if you enjoy a good story and pleasant company.
