The location felt completely safe, and I had a great two-night stay with Leni in April 2026. She was very welcoming and kind. Her English is limited, so I wish I spoke Portuguese, but we managed to communicate just fine most of the time. This is in a more local part of town, with the touristy area about a five-minute walk away. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a private room in Itacare.

We were five people staying at Leni’s guesthouse for a week of filming in Itacaré, and we were happy with every part of it. The place was clean, tidy, and really well located. There’s no breakfast, but Dona Leni pointed us to a bakery nearby. From booking through checkout, Dona Leni looked after us so well. The service felt professional and impeccable, and we wondered if she’d managed departments at multinational companies before. She was always smiling, gave us helpful tips, and paid attention to what we needed. Her warmth brought happiness to everyone around her. We’d give the guesthouse and Leni a 10, and since the top rating is five stars, she gets all five. We’ll definitely be back.
