Hotel Luar Atlantico

The hotel is simple, but it’s clean and very nice. Breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly. For the price, it offers excellent value compared with other places, with amenities like an ice cream shop in the room, a hairdryer, and room service. It’s around 10 blocks from the beach, near the main avenues, and there’s a large supermarket just a couple of blocks away.

A terrible experience. I was treated with shocking rudeness and aggression by an employee who identified himself as the manager. I was less than an hour late for check-in because there was no internet signal during the trip, and he scolded me in front of other guests, making an unnecessary and humiliating scene. I also noticed a clearly prejudiced tone because I’m a woman. There was no basic professionalism, empathy, or respect for a customer. I don’t recommend it.

I’ve worked in hospitality for over 10 years, and found the hotel clean and cozy, with very helpful staff. The breakfast is simple but delicious, and it’s excellent value for money. P.S. The receptionist was a cat, literally, hahaha.

The location is good, close to a 24-hour supermarket, and the internet connection was good. The staff were helpful too, except for the time we arrived “late” and they wouldn’t let us in. They just stared at us through the door and refused to open it. The check-in time isn’t posted anywhere. Cleaning was VERY basic. They barely straightened the sheets and did a poor job sweeping.
