Master Hotel

Nice.

The breakfast buffet was good and varied, and our rooms were cleaned every day. There’s also a small fridge in the room, and we had no trouble with the hot water. Still, the rooms are tiny. We were given one for three people, with barely 40 cm between the beds and hardly enough space to walk. Maybe two beds, or even just one, would have been more comfortable. There’s no clothes rack, so we had to hang towels and other things on the curtain rods, furniture, and beds. They also charge extra for hot water for the thermos, and the Wi-Fi worked only off and on. There were three men at reception on different shifts. Two were friendly, but the oldest one wasn’t.

For a two-star hotel, it’s very good. The building is nice and well maintained, with an elevator and stairs, and they let us leave our chairs and umbrellas in storage so we didn’t have to carry them down every day. The rooms are small but clean and have what you need. In ours, the bathroom door wouldn’t close and the toilet leaked, causing a flood. The service was very good, especially the wonderful woman working at breakfast. Hot water costs 5 reais per token, and it’s much warmer than lukewarm.

The rooms are a little small and short on storage, but they include a free safe, TV, mini-fridge, and bathroom hairdryer, which more than makes up for that. Cleanliness was excellent, the location was very convenient, and all the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. There’s no pool, but with the sea so close, that’s a minor thing.
