Set beside the surrounding nature, this was a lovely place to spend a few nights. The hotel brings together modern architecture and an old railway station, and has just 12 rooms, so you'll want to book ahead. The room was comfortable, with a jacuzzi and a strong hot shower. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very nice and dedicated.

We were already thinking about our next visit by the end of dinner. Estação Bananeiras might look like an ordinary neighborhood restaurant, but it surprised us with distinctive, flavorful food. The bruschetta was fresh, had a great texture, and wasn't oily. I came with my spouse and two kids on a Friday night after failing to make a phone reservation. The friendly staff welcomed us, and the smell of the local food was incredible. It was filling up around 7 pm, but we found a table. We shared pastéis de carne de sol e nata and bruschetta to start, then had lamb chops and veal parm for the main courses.

The restaurant is beautiful and rustic, though the food could be better.
