It’s still a three-star rating because our first reservation had been mixed up, so when we arrived we were sent somewhere else. That made the first day stressful. When we got to the pousada the next day, we realized some details hadn’t been explained when we booked, so ask everything in advance 😳 Is the room spacious? How many people can it fit? Does each room have its own bathroom, or is it shared with everyone?
I stayed at this simple, cozy pousada with my family in July 2015 and recommend it. It feels like a mix of a buriti grove and a stream. That parrot is quite a character! I planted a coconut tree there, so please look after it, dona Edina. It must be pretty big by now. I want to see it when I come back. A hug.
Clean pousada, a relaxing atmosphere, and a fantastic breakfast. It’s close to the center, too. I loved it. The staff were really good and attentive as well.
