SEQ - Sequoia Alphaville By Anora Spaces

The rooms are good value, with balconies in every room and punctual cleaning. Most things were fine, but only a limited number of reception staff spoke English, which kept this from being a five-star stay for me. I was there for two stays of a little over two weeks each, and breakfast was the same every day. Some variety would help.

The location is good, the staff are great, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel itself feels dated and could use a facelift. There are also several small maintenance issues: the water drains slowly, the faucets are worn, and the bed’s headboard wasn’t secured.

I had a comfortable stay in an apartment with a kitchen, and the room was spacious with good ventilation. The area felt secure, and Pao de sucar (Super Market) is very close if you want to buy food and cook. There’s also a dining room at the hotel, and breakfast was included in my package and was good. The pool, gym, kids’ play area, and helpful, polite staff were all good. Some staff didn’t know English, but they tried to understand and help.

Breakfast was the weak point for me, the food was the same every day. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, with nice options. The room was clean and had enough space, and the staff were very friendly and provided good service.
