Pousada Sol Nascente

Really great.

The breakfast is served too late for anyone who needs to head out early, and there wasn't enough clear information about what to expect. My stay was unfortunately very bad. The inn looked nothing like its advertised photos, and there was no air conditioning in the room. The mattress was extremely old, sunken, and looked rotten, so getting proper rest was impossible. More care is needed for guests' comfort and well-being. I don't recommend it.

It looks lovely from the outside, but the room wasn't what had been promised. There was no air conditioning, just a weak fan, and we ended up wrapping ourselves in the mattress sheet because there weren't any sheets on the bed. The location is inconvenient, far from town, and the road feels odd at night. There's a nearby beach, but it's very quiet and has only two stalls. Breakfast was weak too. Mobile data didn't work, and the Wi-Fi signal never reached our room, so we spent most of the time without internet. If all you need is somewhere quiet to shower and change, it's fine.

Seu Joaquim was so polite and welcoming, a really lovely person. The room itself had a lot of problems, though. The bed had blood and yellow stains, the toilet was blocked, and the tap leaked. Things were dusty, the water smelled of rust, and the Wi-Fi barely worked and wouldn't reach the room. There were also so many potó in the room, on the bed and even inside the pillow.
