There’s a pleasant garden with tables where you can eat or get some work done, and the location is handy for the big park, its weekend market, and the historic theater. They can store luggage before or after your stay, and sell large bottles of water at the desk. Our room and bathroom were nice, with a hot shower, so I’d stay again. The room fridge ran but didn’t get cold, and we saw some ants and flies. On arrival nobody answered the doorbell, so we had to call to get inside.

A lovely small hotel, especially the garden. The rooms are simple but have what you need, breakfast was good, and the staff were very nice. It’s in a great spot for exploring the city.

The only thing I’d quibble with is that the sheets felt too short for the mattresses. Otherwise, this Posada (Bed and Breakfast) was clean, quiet, well placed, and competitively priced, with a good breakfast, hot water piped to the shower, and a 24-hour front desk. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and the ivy around the street entrance and all the vines and plants looked lovely. It has 11 rooms and enough employees to keep things looked after. If they had more apartments, I think they’d fill them.

It’s not a bad place to stay, but the price is fairly high and there’s no breakfast. I was also surprised by how very dangerous the location felt.
