The only things that kept this from being five stars were on our last night: the towels smelled quite bad, and I could see fungus starting around parts of the toilet fixtures. Otherwise, I had a very good stay at Novotel Jardins. It's modern, in a handy spot for getting around São Paulo, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Staff were polite and professional. Our room was comfortable, attractive, and well kept, and breakfast had a good range for the price. A pleasant hotel with what you need for a comfortable stay.

The rooms were really comfortable, and the service was excellent. The location was great too. They also let you add a half day for a late checkout, which was handy. I'd happily recommend this hotel.

The replacement room had a flooded bathroom and a broken safe. Our first room hadn't been cleaned before we arrived and smelled of human feces. After we complained, staff offered another room, but only once we'd made our dissatisfaction clear, and without apologizing. They came across as untrained, unprofessional, judgmental, and unhelpful.

I've stayed here several times over the years, but my last visit has put me off coming back. The rooms are larger than average and generally clean, but service left a lot to be desired. I ran into several problems, and the staff seemed indifferent at best and incompetent at worst.

Daniel from the Bar made one of the best “Caipirinha” I've ever had. Everything was excellent, from the bar through to the bedroom. Great work by the Novotel team.
