Rede Andrade Hangar

The one good thing was the view of Belem’s high rises from my window on the 7th floor, which opened all the way. It took 30 minutes standing at reception just to get Wi-Fi, and the elevators are slow. You get what you pay for.

I had to stay one night because I checked in late, but left first thing the next morning and gave up the rest of my stay. The room door looked like it had recently been smashed in, and I never felt safe there. The reception staff were helpful, but this was a really bad experience. Avoid it.

We were able to check in early for a small fee when we arrived for our layover. The room was quite small, and breakfast was basic. The main problem was the water system: it failed, and we waited four hours to shower. The staff said the water would come back, but the wait was really frustrating. I won't stay here again.

I got there at 7 am and had to leave by 10:30. The place was dirty, the sheet was in bad shape, the bathroom window was broken, there was no closet, the bed was very uncomfortable, and breakfast was miserable. The photos I posted show what I mean. I didn't even sleep there, but they charged me for all seven days of the booking. When I left, they said they would refund me. Be careful, because the hotel looks completely different from its photos.
