Hotel Novo Horizonte

We stayed for four days in July and wouldn't recommend it. The cleaning was awful, the fan was broken, and they don't serve breakfast. The TV signal was poor, and customer service wasn't good either.

We stayed for seven days only because the location was so close to work. The hotel is well located and has on-site parking for an extra charge, but almost everything else was terrible. Our room was cleaned just twice, and there were never clean towels or sheets. The breakfast was awful and the place was very dirty. Service was poor too. Our room had just one fan, and it was broken. We later found out some rooms had air conditioning, but ours didn't. The shower never got hot.

If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep, this place is fine. For better quality, find another hotel. It's a basic hotel with no breakfast, though service can be good depending on who's at reception. Its main advantage is the central location, 300 meters from shopping Cidade. We had an electrical problem and had to change rooms. We paid by card and asked for a refund so we could move to another hotel, but they didn't return the payment.

For the price, it's a great deal compared with some other hotels in BH. It's quiet, close to pretty much everything downtown, and the garage is really good. You don't have to wait around for a valet to bring out your car, and parking is included in the room rate. The simple rooms all have air conditioning. A minibar would be nice, but at this price it's still great. Congrats to the whole team at hotel novo horizonte.
