Aipana Plaza Hotel

For a visit to Boa Vista, this is the best place to stay!

The staff were extremely helpful, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We also found the taxis and locals friendly and good natured. It’s a nice little town, and the river and beaches are worth visiting. We had a pool-view room, which was lovely, though I can’t comment on the others. The sheet didn’t fit properly for the first two days, then the right size showed up on the third. We used the laundry service, and the line in the shower for hand washing was a thoughtful touch. The pool area was a nice place to relax and eat. The food was good and fairly priced, though not exceptional; the beer was reasonably priced too, but we didn’t care for the cocktails. This was the best hotel we stayed in, and a great place to recharge. I’d highly recommend it.

David welcomed us at the front desk with a warm smile and a very professional, friendly manner. The room felt homey and was excellent. We also really enjoyed the food, and the breakfast staff were courteous.

The beds and showers were great, but the customer support didn’t match the price. They were poor at giving directions, and I was told the restaurant didn’t take credit cards. My door lock jammed and needed replacing, though they sorted that out pretty quickly. The walls and doors are so thin I needed earplugs to sleep. They spoke English, but most of the time I felt they weren’t understanding what I said. Ha.
