We paid for 12 days, but the first room they gave us was different from the one we’d booked, supposedly because its bathroom was clogged. The next day they moved us to the room we had apparently “chosen” on Booking.com. It was awful: a tiny window facing a wall, a musty smell, and no ventilation at all. We asked to switch rooms and offered to pay the difference, but there wasn’t another one available. When we asked for a refund, they refused, so we left. Be careful when booking and choose the room carefully. I definitely don’t recommend this place. I also have apartments listed on Booking.com, so I know how customers are treated. These people showed no empathy at all.

There’s no breakfast, but I’d still definitely stay here again. The staff are extremely polite, the rooms are cozy, and the cleanliness is second to none. The pousada also has a rooftop pool and is very well located in Bombinhas, close to the sea. A short walk gets you to Prainha, with access from there to Lagoinhas beach, Sepultura beach, and Refúgio dos Padres.

The photos are misleading, sir. I picked the place because of them. I’ve never had a guest want to leave my apartments, but if that happened, I’d refund their money. Best of luck, and thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay. We came as two families and were treated very well, from the owners through to the whole staff. Shops and restaurants are nearby, so there’s no need to drive anywhere, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk from the pousada, at most. We’d definitely give it preference again when we come back. Highly recommend it.

There are good parking spaces, and you can borrow beach chairs. The location and closeness to the beach are great, but the receptionist’s service was disappointing.
