It’s a pleasant place and in a good location. The kitchen could use a coffee maker and a sandwich press. People arriving by car can bring those along, but guests flying in can’t, even though the kitchen is described as equipped. Only one burner igniter on the stove worked. The living room sofa was torn and uncomfortable, and the barbecue sink faucet could be replaced with a kitchen-style one to make cleaning the grill easier.

The internet didn’t work. The reception staff were uncivil and long-winded, and the cleaning team was disrespectful and made a lot of noise while cleaning nearby rooms. There isn’t a fifth bed for a party of five, so someone has to sleep on the floor mattress they provide or on the sofa.

The apartment was clean and spacious, with a balcony barbecue. Having an elevator was helpful for my elderly mother. It’s well situated near restaurants, pharmacies, shops, bakeries, supermarkets, a health center, and the beach. Bombas beach has a promenade with showers and public bathrooms. We had a good stay and I’d stay there again. The garage is small and takes some maneuvering, and the internet kept cutting in and out. One bedroom’s air conditioner wasn’t working. I told reception, and they asked for the apartment key so a technician could check it. I’d suggest having the air conditioners inspected before guests arrive.

The location is convenient: cross the main avenue and you’re at the beach. There is a garage, although the spaces are very tight depending on the car, and we had to back in. The apartments don’t come with sheets or bath and hand towels, and there’s no full-length mirror. On the cold tile floors, the furniture makes a lot of noise whenever it’s moved, so we heard scraping sounds constantly, even in the early morning. The old elevator is advertised for five people, but depending on everyone’s weight it only fits four. One air conditioner had no remote, so we couldn’t adjust it. Since there’s no washing machine in the apartments, a self-service day-use laundry would be useful for guests.
