The view is lovely, breakfast is delicious, and the staff were very friendly. But the structure of the budget double room I stayed in was terrible. I think they assumed that an economical option could have broken, dirty, or uncomfortable things. Budget should just mean simpler and smaller. The room itself was small, which was fine. The double bed was small too, also fine, but it was extremely uncomfortable and seemed to have a spring mattress. There were no outlets by the bed. The ones in the room were old style, so I couldn't use my computer, and they were loose enough that chargers wouldn't work. There was only one usable outlet in the room, and none in the bathroom, so I had to dry my hair in the room without a mirror. There was nowhere practical to put toiletries in the bathroom, not even inside the shower. The bathroom mirror and shower area were dirty. A dead bug stayed on the little balcony all weekend, and the curtain was torn all over. The only furniture for storing belongings was in terrible condition. I didn't enjoy the stay and wouldn't return or recommend it. Maybe the chalet rooms offer a different experience, since they look good. But if you're considering the budget rooms, I don't recommend them. They aren't cheap, and the experience was really poor.
