Cassorova Resort and Ecotourism

The pool was wonderful, and even in the heat the floor stayed cool, which was really comfortable for the kids to run around on. I spent a weekend at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the trails, the attention to small details, the lighting, and the reasonable prices. I recommend it and will be back.

The restaurant menu could be a lot better. I think the farm restaurant could serve dishes from São Paulo’s excellent cuisine, which is very good without needing to be made “gourmet.” I mean that as constructive criticism. The region is beautiful, the hotel is very well equipped, and the bungalows are great. The pools are excellent and the trails are very well cared for. Special mention to the whole team, who were kind and efficient.

The chalets are all alike and beautiful. Ours had a lovely, deep outdoor hot tub, a king bed with a smart TV, and a wall light with a really comfortable glow. The bathroom was excellent for a couple, spacious and with a private toilet, though no shower enclosure. The music won me over too: 80s and 90s rock and MPB, plus some good current pop. The big infinity pool is large enough for both hotel guests and day visitors. Guests can also use a separate private pool, reached through a gate with the chalet card, with its own bathroom and restaurant. The portions were delicious and nicely prepared at fair prices, and the service was excellent. The à la carte restaurant dishes were delicious and cooked just right. Breakfast was very good too, though I’d have liked a few more fruits. The waterfalls are AMAZING, and the lake for stand-up paddleboarding is spectacular. We saw lots of wild animals: a fox, lizard, owl, just beautiful. Food and lodging can be paid in 10 installments by card, and part of the amount comes back as cashback through the loyalty program to use on a future stay. I recommend it and will come back.

The resort area is very nice, with so many beautiful views. We’ll definitely return. It does need better accessibility, though, with ramps for wheelchair users, since only some areas can be reached. A games room and a multi-sport court would give people things to do on rainy days. The road to the inn also needs more signs and lighting.
